Full view from Fossa

Opened in 1977, the church at Fossa outside Killarney, Kerry is modestly sized. Despite the variety of art inside its slanting walls, the view through the window behind the altar surpasses them all.
As a result of the architectural design, the tabernacle is located in a side chapel beautifully decorated with five large works by artist Patrick Pye.
Another artist well known for her work across many of Ireland's churches, Imogen Stuart, carved the altar with foliage and a centrally- placed dove of peace.
The Stations of the Cross around the Prince of Peace church simply and clearly convey the story of Christ's journey to Calvary and are by Wexford artist Nell Pollen.
